Let's tweak that a little. How about ';Not Quite Desperate';?

You may be on to something. My company has a new line of perfume labeled '; Desperation.'; Would this be a good slogan for it: The Perfume?
I don't think anyone wants to smell like desperation.
When it comes to dating, desperation that you can smell from a mile away is usually not a good thing.
If you want to stick with that name, you will need to be very careful with how it's projected in your marketing efforts. There might be a way to twist it into a cocky and humorous name but the line to walk will be very thin.
Make the men in your life desperate for affection.
